Report on sports wagering revenue in August posted

A new revenue report is out now showing how much money was bet, won, and taxed in NC for the month of August. The North Carolina State Lottery Commission is releasing its sports wagering revenue report for August. It compiles the revenue in the month as submitted by the eight licensed interactive sports wagering operators. Between Aug. 1 and Aug. 30, account holders in North Carolina bet $370,484,774 on sports events, including paid and promotional bets. From those bets, they won $333,707,885.
