Deadline approaches for public comments on proposed sports wagering rules

The Sports Betting Committee approved starting a rulemaking process and will now accept public comments.

During a public meeting on Sept. 18, 2024, the Sports Betting Committee of the North Carolina State Lottery Commission approved starting a rulemaking process and issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. The deadline to submit public comments is Friday, Oct. 18. You can submit comments online. Comments can also be emailed to [email protected], along with your name and contact information, business or organization (if applicable), and the rule numbers to which your comments relate.
