
Commission issues eighth interactive sports wagering operator license

The Commission issued the eighth operator license to Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise.
The North Carolina State Lottery Commission on Thursday issued the eighth interactive sports wagering operator license in advance of the launch of legal sports wagering in North Carolina on Monday, March 11. The new license went to Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise, an enterprise of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The approval of the license brings the total number of interactive sports wagering operator licenses in North Carolina to eight. Two additional provisional supplier licenses were also issued. As of Feb. 29, the Commission has issued three full licenses for sports wagering suppliers, 20 provisional supplier licenses, and three sports wagering service provider licenses.
