Penn Sports Interactive, a licensed sports wagering operator in North Carolina, has announced plans to rebrand its wagering platform and change its name from ESPN BET to theScore Bet. The North Carolina State Lottery Commission wants to make sports bettors aware of this transition expected to take place in the coming weeks.

 

Penn Sports Interactive is contacting its account holders about the rebrand and has published a FAQ webpage to answer customers’ questions.

 

These are some details of Penn Sports Interactive’s rebranding plan that players should know:

  • You do not have to create a new account. Your account will transfer to theScore Bet.
  • You do not have to download a new app. The ESPN BET app will automatically change to theScore Bet with a download of the latest version.
  • You do not have to reset your Responsible Gaming limits. Everything will transfer from your ESPN BET account.
  • If you have questions, please contact Penn Sports Interactive at 844-953-2121.

 

The Commission will monitor this transition to be sure player accounts and personal information remain protected and that all requirements are met.
