Commission issues eighth interactive sports wagering operator license

The North Carolina State Lottery Commission on Thursday issued the eighth interactive sports wagering operator license in advance of the launch of legal sports betting in North Carolina on Monday, March 11. The new license went to Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise, an enterprise of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The approval of the license brings the total number of interactive sports wagering operator licenses in North Carolina to eight. Two additional provisional supplier licenses were also issued. As of Feb. 29, the Commission has issued three full licenses for sports wagering supplier, 20 provisional supplier licenses, and three sports wagering service provider licenses. Commission issues seven interactive sports wagering operator licenses

The North Carolina State Lottery Commission on Thursday issued the first interactive sports wagering operator licenses to seven companies in advance of legal sports betting in North Carolina on Monday, March 11. The Commission expects to approve additional licenses in the near future. As of Feb. 29, the Commission has also issued three full licenses for sports wagering supplier, 18 provisional supplier licenses, and three sports wagering service provider licenses. Nine new licenses issued for sports wagering suppliers

The North Carolina State Lottery Commission has issued two full sports wagering supplier licenses and seven additional provisional licenses. The licensees are the second set issued in advance of the March 11 date for the start of sports wagering in North Carolina. Two full licenses and 14 provisional licenses for suppliers have now been issued. Provisional licenses are good for 180 days.
